Despite having its very humble beginnings in South Florida, this company has grown over the years and has expanded the scope of its service offerings to include unparalleled services to its passengers as well as aircraft owners.
With its FAA Air Carrier Authorization, Skymax is capable of flying to any airport in the whole of the USA and can arrange for air charter travel through any of the trusted and reliable charter services for customers who’d like to fly to The Bahamas.

The only way you can know the fare for your trip is by calling them at the number provided on the official website to get the fastest response, or to use the charter information form so that the support staff will call you back later. Note that the price quote you’ll receive from Skymax may to a great extent be determined by:

- The date of your flight
- Any other extra requirements you may have to make your trip more comfortable.
Does Skymax offer Flight sharing services?
No. We’ve already highlighted that Skymax seeks to deliver utility to its customers who need to travel to specific destinations at their own time. At the time the aircraft is flying back to its home base, you’d expect that Skymax would get the nudge to allow people to book what is popularly known as an empty legs flight. Skymax does not do this – its owners are aware that their objective is to deliver utility to a customer, and they make sure that the customer pays for that utility as specified in their charter agreement.
Another interesting bit of information about on-demand air charter is that companies such as Skymax are not allowed to operate on a schedule more than four times a week, between two cities. If they did that, it would call for additional authority.
They’ve actually clarified this on their official website by reminding customers that they’re not buying a seat, but the entire aircraft. As a customer, you can bring your family and friends after paying for the whole trip (they can’t contribute through a cost-pooling model), but any empty seats are not available for sharing with other people who’d like to minimize the expenses of their flight by buying one or several seats.
