What is Omni Air International?
Omni Air International, LLC is a U.S-based charter airline that has its headquarters in Hangar 19, located in Tusla International Airport, in Oklahoma. This company specializes in the provision of the following services:
- Passenger charter flights
- Aircraft Crew Maintenance Insurance (ACMI)
- Wet Leasing
For most of the companies in this industry, certification of safety is essential, since it gives travelers the confidence that they’re traveling in aircraft that have a high likelihood of crashing later on in the journey. The owners of this company are well-aware of this and have as such acquired FAA Part 121 certification with IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration.
As I mentioned earlier, this review was going to be one interesting one. Some people have already traveled in aircraft owned by this company, not because they had planned and paid for the trips, but because they were in the process of deportation. That’s right! Omni Air International has been cooperating with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to complete some high-risk deportations. Unfortunately, this company has gotten a not-so-good reputation for charging very exorbitant prices to deport people. In 2019, for instance, this company charged the U.S. government $1.8 million to facilitate the deportation of 163 people, which gave it quite the bad rap amongst the U.S. taxpayers.
Do they have a wide variety of aircraft?
As of now, this company operates a fleet of Boeing and B777 aircraft only. To be more precise, Omni Air’s fleet comprises wide-body aircraft, which include:
- Boeing 767-200ER – 3 Aircraft
- Boeing 767-300ER- 8 Aircraft
- Boeing 777-200ER- 3 Aircraft
Unfortunately, this fleet is quite small in comparison to other firms in this industry. As much as this company may be on the move to build a wide-body aircraft fleet only, which may be quite costly, that does not take away the fact that it does not match up to its competitors in terms of the number and size of aircraft.
If you’re looking for any aircraft other than a Boeing or B777 aircraft, then Omni Air International is definitely off the list for you.
Do they have a wide variety of pricing options for different budgets?
I’ve noticed that a good number of companies in the air transportation industry are quite reluctant with providing information about pricing. This applies to Omni Air International, which does not reveal how much it charges per flight. This could largely be as a result of the nature of its services, which may only attract customers who may have very specific needs in mind- such as the deportation services. That said, however, it would be a good thing if Omni Air took the time to create and upload a chart with estimated prices, to help potential customers weigh in on the decisions, without necessarily having to request a quote.
Does Omni Air International offer Flight sharing services?
No. There’s nowhere on this company’s website that we can find any information related to the provision of flight-sharing services. Other companies in this industry have gone the extra mile of creating well-defined flight-sharing programs, that cater to the needs of people who’d like to share the cost of their flight, as they travel with their friends, family members, or with their business partners. We’ve also seen the highly sought-after empty legs services, that give you a chance to enjoy a private charter flight at about 60% of the regular flight costs. Omni Air does not seem to have that either, so you’d rather look elsewhere if you’re trying to save costs by booking your flight with a company that offers flight-sharing services.
Does Omni Air International accept Bitcoin Payments?
No. Omni is yet to join the wagon of Bitcoin-accepting private charter companies in the air transportation industry. The Bitcoin adoption rate is on the rise, with multinational companies also accepting cryptocurrency payments, which offer utmost privacy to the customers. Whereas it is not mandatory for any company to include a certain payment method (out of preference), it works to that company’s advantage to have inclusive payment methods. The air transportation industry has already proven that it’s very green for alternative payment methods such as cryptos, with more people realizing that credit card information is prone to theft.
P.S: Hackers do not spare private air travel companies. You can read about this EasyJet data breach in which credit card details of more than 9 million customers were affected in a successful highly sophisticated cyber-attack. This is why I highly recommend switching to Bitcoin payments whenever possible, moreso when using other conventional payment methods would expose you to huge losses in the event of the theft of your confidential details (such as PINS, passwords, etc.)
Membership options?
Omni Air International does not have any membership programs or jet card membership programs, which you’d benefit from as a regular traveler. Whereas most people will not worry about a membership program because they only travel by air only a couple of times annually, those who are frequent travelers may be in need of a program that presents them with benefits such as locking in all-year-round favorable prices. If Omni Air does not meet this requirement for you, you can look for alternatives in the industry.
The quality of the support?
The quality of support is the sum of many factors which all go a long way towards showing us the nature and attitude of a company towards its customers. In some of the reviews that I’ve done about other firms in the air transportation industry, it has been easy to pick out the companies that offer very quality customer support, and those that are totally failing at their job.
With Omni Air, however, I just have some mixed feelings about the quality of the support offered. As much as you can communicate with the support staff through their social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, the level of interaction with the customers is not very healthy. If you’re trying to make a quick inquiry, however, you can call them through the phone number provided on their official website.
In what countries are their service available?
Currently, Omni Air International offers its services from the following centers:
- Dallas Base – at Fort Worth Alliance Airport
- Las Vegas Base – McCarran International Airport
- Seattle Base – Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
- Tulsa Headquarters – Tulsa International Airport
- Hawaii Base – Daniel K. Inouye International Airport
- Baltimore Base – Baltimore / Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
Omni Air International Reviews (What their customers say)
We’re finally at the section of the review in which we get to weigh in on the decision about whether or not to rely on the services offered by a certain company, based on the outlook of the feedback given by most customers. There are not very many customer reviews about this company, but I came across some on Airline Quality, which we can rely on to analyze the nature of the service delivery to customers.
Rating: (2.5 / 5) (out of 7 customer reviews) click here for details (opens in new window)
Before we even get to what the customers are saying, I must admit that this company’s average rating is a bit wanting. If you are to fly with any service provider in this industry, then you cannot afford to place your life in the hands of the ones that do not have a near-perfect score in terms of quality of service and safety.
From Omni Air’s ratings, you can tell that half of the customers are pleased with the services offered, whereas the other is not very satisfied. The company seems to get lauded for great staff services but is seemingly not the best for inflight entertainment, seat comfort, and value for money. If so far you feel that this company has what it takes to serve you on your next flight, then you can reach out to them to book a flight, otherwise, you can have a look at what its competitors are bringing to the table.

Final words and verdict
Verdict: Legit!
Overall rating: (2.5 / 5)
Omni Air International, as it seems, has a few areas to polish on, before it can take on the companies that are dominating the air transportation industry. Most of its competitors are companies that have a wide variety of aircraft, and that has access to thousands of airports all across the world. Omni Air’s scope of service provision may be quite limited due to the limited size of its fleet, but it’s still been operational for more than 2 decades which goes a long way to prove that it still has some pretty decent reception from its customers. Omni Air may be worth the salt for you, but if it’s not, you can opt for other alternatives in the industry.
