What is Capitol Air? Best For Flights To Caribbean Nations?

June 4, 2021 by Aver Leave a Comment

What is Capitol Air? Are its services reliable? How good are its other features cumulatively? Does it have a wide variety of payment methods? Today we shall be tackling such questions in today’s review about this company, in a bid to help you know if you should turn to it for the services it offers or you should avoid it.

Company: Capitol AirWhat is Capitol Air?

Website: https://www.capitol-air.com/

Years in business: Not Known

Wide variety of aircraft: No

Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

P.S.

What is Capitol Air?

Capitol Air exists as an FAA Certified Air Charter Firm that’s licensed to operate in more than 30 popular Caribbean destinations. Its main operations are overseen from the United States Virgin Island of St Thomas. It claims to be in possession of well-maintained aircraft that can accommodate travel parties of 3 to 8 people, as they head out to the listed destinations.

This company offers its services 365 days a year and has trained its staff to deliver safe, reliable, confidential, and reliable services. Beyond that, Capitol Air has its doors wide open to customers who’d like to go for a one-way trip or round-trip, business trips, island hopping, flight transfers, etc. We shall see as we progress whether the customers who have trusted them with their flights have ended up satisfied or disappointed.

Do they have a wide variety of aircraft?

No. Capitol Air falls short of the current industrial standards when it comes to the variety of aircraft in its fleet. Currently, according to its website, this company has the following aircraft:

  • Piper Chieftan Panther – 8 passengers
  • Piper Aztec – 5 passengers.

Clearly, this fleet cannot handle the needs of a wide variety of customers who’d need to switch between one type of aircraft to another (based on the carrying capacity or flight range)

Do they have a wide variety of pricing options for different budgets?

No. This company does not highlight anything about its pricing model on its official website. It is hard to tell whether the travel charges will favor you or not. You have to submit a reservation form for you to get a price quote, which may or not be within your budgetary limits. I think it helps if a company can come clean with its rates and charges so that customers can have an easy time planning for their trip.

Overall, the following factors may influence the air charter charges:

  • Destination
  • Location of departure
  • Date of departure
  • The number of seats you intend to book (adults, children & infants).

Does Capitol Air offer Flight sharing services?

No. Capitol doesn’t have any information on its website that points to it offering flight-sharing services. Now, if you’re wondering why flight services are important, it is simply because this cost-sharing model enables you to charter an aircraft, and to meet the expenses of your flight jointly. Any of the seats that you do not intend to use after chartering an aircraft can be offered to your friends or family members, or even business partners, for them to meet their independent costs and travel along with you.

Does Capitol Air accept Bitcoin Payments?

It is not clear whether this company accepts Bitcoin payments, but there is no evidence that it does. That said, I’d recommend checking out any alternative that accepts Bitcoin payments, owing to the underlying benefits that are to be reaped. If you can manage to identify a preferred air charter company that accepts cryptocurrencies, you can benefit from zero tax, low transaction, anonymous and speedy transactions, which is quite something more so in this age of consistent cybercrime attacks.

P.S. See a full list of private jet companies that accept Bitcoin (and other cryptos) as payment on this page

Membership options?

Capitol Air doesn’t currently offer any membership program or jet card. While this may be viewed as a downside by frequent fliers, it does not matter that much if you rarely fly to any destination. Membership programs and jet cards offer impressive discounts to frequent fliers, often enabling them to access a wide variety of aircraft for a given number of hours per year (usually 25 to 50 hours). In most cases, the hours don’t expire so you can use them for the next year as well.

Membership programs and jet cards can, however, be quite expensive, hence you should only consider them when it’s absolutely necessary to do so.

The quality of the support?support

Beyond having a physical mailing address, that you can send a letter to, Capital Air also has the following communication channels open for use by its customers:

  • Email
  • Telephone
  • Social media messaging platforms – Facebook & Twitter.

We shall see later in the customer reviews section whether its support staff are quick to respond to customer requests on these platforms and channels.

In what countries are their service available?

Capitol Air’s operations are based in the USA, from where it enables its customers to fly to over 30 Caribbean destinations. You can always confirm with them whether they have any available aircraft to take you to your destination.

Capitol Air Reviews (What their customers say)

By analyzing customer reviews and feedback, we can begin to see consistent themes in the nature of a company’s service offerings. When all is said and done, you only want to take a flight in an aircraft that others have used and recommended to be worth flying in. You have to go beyond the marketing campaigns and all the impressive graphics to verify whether a given company has what it takes to get you to your destination safely. Let’s see what customers on Trip Advisor have to say about Capital Air.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars (5 / 5) (out of 37 customer reviews) click here for details (opens in new window)

With a 5-star rating on Trip Advisor, this company is definitely one that’s proving its worth to its customers. From most of the feedback given, it seems that Capitol Air is very professional and friendly to its customers. Those who have booked a flight with them have so far been treated well by the customer support staff and the pilots. Generally, those who have booked their flights with Capitol were okay with the type of aircraft it owns. Before booking your flight with this company, however, you can have a look at what other air charter companies have to offer, in terms of aircraft variety and pricing.

PROs & CONs

Which areas is Capital Air performing well and where is it yet to catch up with its competitors? Here are some worth considering:

Pros

  • Excellent customer reviews
  • Good customer support

Cons

  • Doesn’t reveal pricing and payment methods
  • It doesn’t accept Bitcoin payments
  • Lacks a membership program
  • No flight-sharing services.

Do You Own or Represent Capitol Air?

If you are a representative, or associate of Capitol Air and have found something that isn’t accurate in today’s review please, feel free to reach out to me and I will update the information on this post. You can do this by leaving your feedback in the comments section below or simply by sending me an e-mail to contact@goldretired.com.

Final words and verdict

Verdict: Legit!

Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

Capitol Air has, despite having a limited number and variety of aircraft, managed to meet its customers’ expectations. It, however, lacks a number of features that we have highlighted in the pros and cons section, that may be very essential to you as you consider your next flight. If Capitol has what you need, you can reach out to them, and book your next flight, else, you can proceed to check out the alternatives (such as my recommended alternative to Capitol Air).

REcommended

What is Neos Airline? Are Its Aircraft Comfortable or Not?

June 3, 2021 by Aver Leave a Comment

What is Neos Airline? Is it capable of delivering reliable services? What are payment options available? Does it accept Bitcoin? What are some of its favorite destinations? If you’re here to obtain answers to such questions that you may have about Neos, then you’re in the right place. Read on to find out this company’s main features, and whether its customer support team will be available to respond to any queries you have. What is Neos Airline?

Company: Neos

Website: https://www.neosair.it/

Years in business: 19

Wide variety of aircraft: No

Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)

P.S.

See my #1 recommended private jet company on this page

What is Neos Airline?

Neos is an Italian Airline that has its headquarters in Somma Lombardo, Lombard. It exists as a subsidiary of Alpitour S.p.A, and operates a fleet of Boeing aircraft. With the available aircraft, Noes ferries its passengers to more than 73 destinations in the local, European, and international categories. Neos’ airline mainly fulfills most of its flights from its main hub in Milan Malpensa Airport.

Having been established in 2001, Neos has survived the test of time and has continued to serve its customers in the best manner possible. At the time this company was being established, it was a joint venture between Italian Alpitour S.p. A, and the popular German tourism company, TUI Group. In January 2004, however, Alpitour purchased all of TUI’s shares, making NEOS its subsidiary (one that was no longer affiliated with TUI Group).

Do they have a wide variety of aircraft?

No. As already highlighted, this company’s fleet comprises only Boeing aircraft. Since Neos is an airline, this is not something that most people would be concerned about. Those who rely on airlines to travel to their destination are mainly concerned about booking one or several seats since the price per seat is the main factor that determines their flight expenses. With private air charter companies, however, there’s no getting away with availing a wide variety of aircraft, since the jet charter fees vary significantly with the size of the aircraft.

Neos has the following aircraft in its fleet:

  • Boeing 737-800 – 6 aircraft
  • Boeing 737-MAX 8 – 2 aircraft
  • Boeing 787-9 – 6 aircraft

Do they have a wide variety of pricing options for different budgets?

No. This company doesn’t have a wide variety of pricing options. Like is the case with most airlines, this company has basic fixed rates per seat. Customers can then decide how much the trip will cost them totally based on the total luggage they bring to the aircraft or other unique preferences. Other factors that determine the total amount of money that customers part with include:

  • The departure location
  • The destination
  • Departure date
  • Return date (for round trips)
  • The number of seats booked
  • Children
  • Infants

The above factors are also very important in the determination of the availability of aircraft at the time one is requesting a price quote.

Does Neos offer Flight sharing services?

No. Flight sharing services are mainly offered by private air charter companies. If you’re traveling with your friends and family, or a team of business colleagues, you can actually consider using a reliable private air charter company that offers flight-sharing services. With these services, everyone can contribute towards the cost of chartering the aircraft, hence presenting you with the opportunity to enjoy a luxurious flight without having to rob a bank.

Does Neos accept Bitcoin Payments?

Neos does not accept Bitcoin payments. Since many other companies in this industry are already accepting cryptocurrency payments, it is possible that Neos may consider this payment option sometime in the future (not guaranteed, but the Bitcoin adoption rate has and is growing very quickly). Why Bitcoin? You may ask. Well, cryptocurrencies since to be quite the better alternative to standard payment methods such as credit and debit cards. With cryptocurrency payments, you do not have to worry about your sensitive financial details falling in the wrong hands, since cryptos guarantee anonymity. Beyond that, crypto transactions have very low transaction fees, zero taxes, and are very fast. Consider checking out what companies that accept Bitcoin payments have to offer, to see if there are ways in which you can save money as you also prevent the loss of your sensitive financial data.

P.P.S.

See the full list of private jet companies that accept Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) on this page

Membership options?

Neos does not have a membership program. This comes as no surprise since airlines barely have the need to establish membership programs or offer jet cards. Airlines are focused on delivering their services to different customers, who may or not return in the future. Private Air Charter companies offer membership programs with the hope of attracting frequent fliers. Most of the programs offer massive discounts, but they can be quite pricey to pay for.

The quality of the support?support

The quality of support can be viewed as comprising of several different elements, but it comes down to the manner in which the support staff takes care of customers to guarantee their safe and comfortable travel. Those who have questions or issues to raise with the support staff at Neos can do this through:

  • An online form – you have to register on the Neos air portal.
  • Email
  • Direct call

We shall see in the customer reviews section if Neos’ quality of support is excellent or one that needs to be addressed.

In what countries are their service available?

This company’s services are mainly based in Italy, but they do have a list of favorite destinations, which include:

  • USA
  • Italy
  • Balearic Islands
  • Canary Islands
  • Cape Verde
  • China
  • Cuba
  • Egypt
  • Jamaica
  • Jordan
  • Greece
  • Iceland
  • Israel
  • Kenya
  • Madagascar
  • Maldives
  • Mexico
  • Oman
  • Dominican Republic
  • Senegal
  • Tanzania

Neos Reviews (What their customers say)

Legit customer reviews reveal to us the nature of a company’s services. It is a very suitable approach to overlooking the promises given by a company on its website, and focusing on the situation on the ground. Let’s see how Neos has fared so far with the reviews on Trip Advisor.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5) (out of  4602 customer reviews) click here for details (opens in new window)

The feedback received from 4602 customers shows that Neos is an average company, which would be okay for most people. I think this company has done a good job of balancing out its strengths and weak points. Customer service and cleanliness are two outstanding strengths of this company. It’s also doing great as far as Inflight entertainment, onboard experience, value for money, and check-in and boarding is concerned. The one area it seems to be lacking is legroom. This, I believe can negatively impact your comfort during the flight. If comfort one of your main priorities, then I  believe you should consider other alternatives.

**You might, for instance, want to look at the company I have given the highest rating on this page

PROs & CONs

At this juncture, we can sum up the pros and cons of Neos, just to create a more refined perspective about it, as we decide whether to utilize its services or not.

Pros

  • It has large aircraft that have a large capacity
  • Most of the fees and charges are specified on their website
  • Excellent customer support services
  • Cleanliness is taken seriously

Cons

  • Limited payment methods – does not accept Bitcoin
  • Does not have a membership program
  • Flight sharing services not offered
  • Legroom may be an issue for some customers

Do You Own or Represent Neos?

If you are a representative, or associate of Neos and have found something that isn’t accurate in today’s review please, feel free to reach out to me and I will update the information on this post. You can do this by leaving your feedback in the comments section below or simply by sending me an e-mail to contact@goldretired.com.

Final words and verdict

Verdict: Legit!

Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars (3.5 / 5)

Most of what we’ve come across Neos reveals that it’s one that’s reliable, in its capacity as an airline. It offers most of the basic features you’d require for your flight. It, however, doesn’t offer much legroom, which may bring about a comfort issue for most travelers. Like I already hinted, there are some alternative companies in the air transportation industry that are well-placed to offer more comfort and luxury, without one having to break their bank.  Have a look at this recommended alternative to Neos, that can help you fulfill your dream of finally flying in a private jet.

REcommended

[btnsx id=”16587″]

That will be all for this review on what Neos Airlines is about. I hope you collected enough details to help you make a decision as to whether you should utilize its services or not. Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions about Neos if you have any.

What is TUI fly? The Best Airline In Germany and Belgium?

June 2, 2021 by Aver Leave a Comment

What is TUI fly? In which countries are its services available? Are there any unique advantages that this company has that you shouldn’t miss out on? If such are the questions that you have in your mind right now, then you should read through this review to get all answers explained at length.

Company: TUI FlyWhat is TUI fly?

Website: https://www.tuifly.be/en

Years in business: 17

Wide variety of aircraft: No

Overall rating: 3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

P.S.

See my #1 recommended private jet company on this page

What is TUI Fly?

TUI Fly is the brand name of a firm known as TUI Airlines Belgium. It belongs to a group called the TUI Group, which is one of the largest tourism groups in the entire world. TUI’s headquarters are in Hannover, Germany, from where its main operations are run.

This company’s existence and operations are all based on one simple concept, which is that you can book a flight ticket or a rental car as you travel abroad, or as you travel for professional reasons. TU Fly tries to stand out from most of its competitors by offering extra but optional services such as cancellation insurance. Its customers can also access travel and assistance insurance. Beyond that, TUI Fly makes the effort to lure its customers by enabling them to access means of transport to the airport, and by helping them park their cars near the airport so that they can spend the night within a reasonable range (to avoid getting late).

Do they have a wide variety of aircraft?

This company’s fleet is fairly small. Other companies have way smaller fleets, but TUI isn’t at the top of the list of the firms with the largest number of aircraft. Currently, this company operates 150+ aircraft. When it’s peak season, such as when most people are heading out for holidays, TU Fly expands its fleet to 175+ aircraft.

TUI Fly Netherlands and Belgium aircraft ferry passengers from a couple of airports in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Morocco, to over 100 destinations all over the world.

The fleet comprises the following aircraft:

  • Boeing 737-800 Next Generation – 18 Aircraft
  • Boeing 737-700 Next Generation – 4 Aircraft
  • Boeing 737 MAX – 7 Aircraft
  • Embraer E-Jet E190 – 4 Aircraft
  • Boeing 767-300ER – 2 aircraft
  • Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner – 5 aircraft

All the other aircraft are usually accessed through and from TUI Fly’s partners, more so during peak periods.

Do they have a wide variety of pricing options for different budgets?

No. When you book your flight with TUI Fly, whether by call or via their online platform, you’ll end up parting with a similar amount of money, like that of other customers headed to the same destination, unless you have some extra requirements or specifications.  Due to the nature of this company’s operations, most of the flight charges are usually similar, with the differences resulting from carrying extra luggage, or requesting extra services (over and beyond the standard inflight services).

Does TUI Fly offer Flight sharing services?

This company doesn’t offer flight-sharing services, owing to its mode of operation. With its aircraft in the Boeing Series, TUI Fly focuses on fulfilling airline charter services, through which more than 100 passengers share the same aircraft. This is different from flight-sharing services in which you find that one person can charter a private aircraft, but have other people join him or her in the flight by paying for one or several seats. These people then have to all agree on the time they’ll be available for departure. Flight sharing services can come in handy when one has a limited budget, or they simply don’t intend to spend more money than is necessary, without having to compromise on quality.

Does TUI Fly accept Bitcoin Payments?

No. This company doesn’t accept Bitcoin payments currently. It seems to be mainly accepting payments made through a wide variety of credit cards, including:

  • KBC
  • CBC
  • MasterCard
  • VISA
  • American Express
  • Maestro
  • Argenta
  • BNP Paribas
  • Belfius
  • ING Home Pay

The good news is that there are several alternatives to TUI Fly that are already accepting Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrency) payments, as they try to accommodate customers who would prefer anonymity, low transaction fees, fast transactions, and zero taxes.

**See full list of private jet companies that accepts cryptocurrency payments on this page

Membership options?

TUI Fly doesn’t have any membership programs at the moment. This feature is common amongst private air charter companies that cater to the needs of frequent fliers who’d want to save on costs (by locking in certain price rates for an entire year).

The quality of the support?support

TUI Fly’s customer support staff are available via any of the communication channels and options listed below:

  • Telephone
  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Twitter

Before reaching out to them, if you have enough time, you can check out the FAQ section to get answers to the questions you already have.

In what countries are their service available?

TUI Fly is licensed to fly to different nations in the world. As much as its headquarters are in Germany, it can serve customers headed to the following destinations:

  • Albania
  • Algeria
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Cuba
  • Cyprus
  • Egypt
  • Finland
  • The Gambia
  • Greece
  • Mexico
  • Spain
  • Tunisia
  • Turkey
  • Portugal
  • Italy
  • Netherlands
  • Morocco
  • USA
  • Romania, etc.

TUI Fly Reviews (What their customers say)

Customer reviews highlight some outstanding elements about a given service provider, thus enabling potential customers to decide whether or not they’d like to utilize the said services. For TUI Fly, I came across some customer service reviews on Trip Advisor, which we can rely on to deduce whether it’s a reliable company or one to avoid.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5) (out of  3222 customer reviews) click here for details (opens in new window)

A rating of (3/5) from more than 3200 customer reviews proves that TUI Fly is a company that’s striving to rise from being average. This company’s competitors have a solid 5-star rating, owing to their consistency in effective and efficient customer service delivery. The two areas this company seems to be shinning are cleanliness and check-in and boarding. However, it still has a long way to go in terms of guaranteeing customer satisfaction as far as seat comfort, legroom, food and beverage, inflight entertainment, and onboard experience are concerned. Its customer service is also rated (3/5) stars to mean that its staff members perform well, but would do with little improvements.

**You might want to look at my #1 recommended private jet solution on this page

PROs & CONs

We can now sum up this company’s strengths and drawbacks, as you get to decide whether you’ll rely on its services or you’ll turn to its competitors.

Pros

  • Large capacity aircraft
  • Cleanliness
  • Check-in and boarding services
  • Travels to different countries all over the world

Cons

  • It doesn’t accept Bitcoin payments
  • No flight-sharing services are offered
  • Lacks a membership program or jet card

Do You Own or Represent TUI Fly?

If you are a representative, or associate of TUI Fly and have found something that isn’t accurate in today’s review please, feel free to reach out to me and I will update the information on this post. You can do this by leaving your feedback in the comments section below or simply by sending me an e-mail to contact@goldretired.com.

Final words and verdict

Verdict: Legit!

Overall rating: 3 out of 5 stars (3 / 5)

TUI Fly’s services to its customers have mostly been perceived as being average. The fact that it’s a low-cost airline means that its services may not be as good as those offered by its competitors who charge more. That said, there are still some pros and cons that you can consider, and possibly even consider utilizing its services. If you’re not sure that TUI Fly is capable of delivering what you’re looking for, you can check out its alternatives, starting with my number one recommended alternative.

REcommended

What is MHS Aviation? Does It Offer Custom Charter Services?

June 1, 2021 by Aver Leave a Comment

What is MHS Aviation? To which regions do its aircraft ferry passengers to? Are its services reliable or not worth trying out? Join me in this review about MHS Aviation in which I shall tackle such questions (and more). Hopefully, by the time you’re getting to the conclusion, you’ll be well-placed to make a decision as to whether to utilize its services.

Company: MHS AviationWhat is MHS Aviation?

Website: https://www.mhs-aviation.de/

Years in business: 40

Wide variety of aircraft: Yes

Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

P.S.

See my #1 recommended private jet company on this page

What is MHS Aviation?

MHS exists as one of the largest executive charter companies in Germany. It has been around for 40 years, and thus takes pride in having the experience to deliver quality air charter services when called upon to do so. This company currently has a total of 20 aircraft, which it claims offer enough diversity to a wide variety of its clients.

MHS Aviation has established flexible structures, refined individual customer service, and states that it has been delivering its services rapidly. Most of these customers are those who’re looking for:

  • Business Jet Charter
  • Aircraft Management
  • Aircraft Lease
  • VIP services.

For the above-listed services, MHS Aviation claims that it can offer tailor-made flight orders to meet individual needs.

Do they have a wide variety of aircraft?

Yes. Whereas this company does not have many aircraft like its competitors, it has an impressive variety of aircraft, which can be used to serve the different needs of its customers. Here are some of the aircraft owned by this company, across different categories:

Ultra Long Range Jets

  • Bombardier Global Express
  • Bombardier Global Express XRS
  • Gulfstream G-550 (T7-XXX)
  • Gulfstream G-550 (OE-ICQ)

Heavy Jets

  • Dassault Falcon 2000LX (D-BAHB)
  • Dassault Falcon 2000LX (OE-HMR)
  • Bombardier Challenger 604 (D-AEOM)
  • Bombardier Challenger 604 (D-ANGB)
  • Bombardier Challenger 604 (D-ANTR)
  • Bombardier Challenger 300 (D-BTLT)
  • Embraer Praetor 600 (D-BGFN)

Light Jets

  • Bombardier Learjet 45XR
  • Cessna Citation Jet CJ2+

Regional Turboprop Airliners

  • Dornier DO328-100 (D-CMHA)
  • Dornier DO328-100 (D-CMHB)
  • Dornier DO328-100 (D-CMHC)
  • Dornier DO328-100 (D-CIRI)
  • Dornier DO328-100 (D-CIRJ)
  • Dornier DO328-100 (D-CIRP)

Helicopters

  • AgustaWestland AW109 (D-HABM)

Do they have a wide variety of pricing options for different budgets?

Whereas this company does not have a wide variety of pricing options, it does have an option in which you can order a custom flight with all your preferred extras. Overall, you can expect the price quotes to differ from one client to another, based on their preferences. I am not very certain that this company’s price quotes will be suitable for your budget, but I’d advise that you compare it with another company in this industry (or several), to ensure that you’re not being extorted whereas you could get more value for less.

Does MHS Aviation offer Flight sharing services?

This company does not offer any flight-sharing services as of now (May 2021). It only allows you to book several seats for the passengers that you’d like to travel with upon chartering an entire aircraft, but it doesn’t offer you a service in which you can call upon other people and have them offset the flight expenses you incurred initially through a cost-pooling approach.

Does MHS Aviation accept Bitcoin Payments?

This company isn’t currently accepting Bitcoin payments. There’s no evidence that this is a mode of payment they’re considering to offer soon, but it would be a great thing if they made this possible. A significant number of firms in this industry are already accepting payment in the form of cryptos, in a bid to facilitate anonymity, low transaction rates, zero taxes, and speedy transactions. With payment methods such as credit cards, some of these benefits offered by cryptos aren’t guaranteed.

P.S. See full list of private jet companies that accept bitcoin payments on this page

Membership options?

With membership programs, customers are guaranteed that they can access a specified range of aircraft (in most cases all aircraft owned by the air charter company) for a given number of hours annually. They are usually seen as a very effective cost-effective approach, more so for the frequent fliers. Unfortunately, MHS Aviation does not have a membership program. This may not deter you from booking your next flight with them if you don’t plan to fly roughly 25-50 hours per year.

The quality of the support?support

It’s always great to make a call to the support staff, or send an email, and have your requests attended to. Is this possible with MHS Aviation support staff or do you have to waste time waiting to get attended to? Currently, this company can attend to your requests if you reach out to them via:

  • Telephone
  • Email

It also has social media platforms, which have messaging platforms, such as:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • Xing

In what countries are their service available?

This company’s services are currently available in Germany from where its customers can charter their aircraft of choice and fly to their destinations. Companies such as MHS Aviation can be picky when it comes to the routes to travel since they’re very objective about remaining profitable. You can, as such, contact the support staff to ask if they’re capable of offering charter services to you as you head out to your preferred destination.

MHS Aviation Reviews (What their customers say)

With genuine customer reviews, we can easily make out the difference between reliable and unreliable service providers. In the air charter industry, you cannot afford to overlook the customer feedback, since it can save you from getting frustrated, and from losing your life. Your objective should be to ensure that you fly with a company that guarantees comfort, as a component of the value that you get for the money that you part with. What can you expect from MHS? Let’s have a look at the reviews on Facebook.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars (5 / 5) (out of  7 customer reviews) click here  for details (opens in new window)

A 5-star rating is pretty good and builds confidence in MHS Aviation. Unfortunately, there is no feedback given by the same customers. Whereas it’s hard not to look away from the ratings with no feedback, we can at least appreciate that the rating is quite high. For some companies, the rating can go to as low as a (1/5) star rating. I’d, however, still recommend that you check out the companies that have solid reviews, to see the difference that they can make.

Final words and verdict

Verdict: Legit!

Overall rating: 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5)

MHS Aviation is impressive on several fronts, including the fact that it has a wide variety of aircraft. I don’t know what else you found impressive about this company, but I believe we can all agree on the fact that its good ratings are proof that the 40 years it has been existent have added to its wealth of experience in customer delivery. That said, I think MHS would receive a fair deal of competition from my number one recommended alternative to it.

REcommended

What is First Choice Airways? Can you rely on the services that its offers? Should it be your first choice as the name suggests, or should you simply avoid it? If you’re here to learn a thing or two about this company in the hope that the information obtained will help you decide whether to rely on it, then you’re in the right place. Read on to find out what its main features are!

Company: First Choice AirwaysWhat is First Choice Airways?

Years in business: 21

Wide variety of aircraft: No

Overall rating: 3.8 out of 5 stars (3.8 / 5)

What is First Choice Airways?

First Choice Airways was a British Airline Charter whose main operations were based in Manchester. It was a subsidiary of the popular tour operator known as TUI travel. First Choice was merged with a company known as Thomsonfly back in 2008, to form TUI Airways, which is still operational.

This company was initially founded in 1987 and commenced its operations in the same year. It started delivering flight services with only 2 Boeing 757s, but it began increasing the number of aircraft right from 1988. By the time First Choice was being merged with Thompsonfly, it was capable of flying its customers to over 60 destinations globally from its 14 UK and Irish airports. This company was also popular for operating scheduled leisure flights to Cyprus, as well as Spain and Portugal.

Did they have a wide variety of aircraft?

As of May 2008, this company’s fleet comprised of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. This, in my view, is not what we’d term as a wide variety of aircraft. Good thing is that this company was an airline, which means there was no need to put together a fleet of varying types of aircraft (by size and flight range). At the time of the merger, here are the aircraft that this company had:

  • Airbus A320-200 – 5 aircraft
  • Airbus A321-200 – 3 aircraft
  • Boeing 757-200 – 14 aircraft
  • Boeing 767-300ER – 6 aircraft

In total, there were 28 aircraft, all with a capacity of more than 180 passengers.

Did they have a wide variety of pricing options for different budgets?

No. As an airline, you’d mainly expect fixed price rates for your flight. There are usually very few price variances when it comes to airline services, with most of the differences coming from some minor extras such as carrying heavier luggage. Generally, if you’ve traveled with any other airline, you have an idea of the pricing model you’d have expected with First Choice.

Did First Choice Airways offer Flight sharing services?

No. This company didn’t offer any flight-sharing services at the time it was operational. Flight sharing services usually involve one person chartering an entire aircraft, and then allowing other passengers to travel with him or her, so long as they can chip into the expenses of the flight by paying for their seat. Flight sharing services are a great money saver, more so when you’re on a budget and wouldn’t want to compromise on luxury.

Was First Choice Airways accepting Bitcoin Payments?

No. At the time it was merging its operations with Thomposonfly, Bitcoin was yet to begin use. This means that First Choice didn’t have the chance to make cryptos and acceptable payment methods. The resulting company, TUI Travel doesn’t also accept Bitcoin.

If you’re planning on taking a trip in the future (sooner or later), you can try out Bitcoin-accepting companies in this industry. Unknown to many, using cryptocurrencies offers customers anonymity, low transaction fees, zero taxes, and speedier transactions. Such are benefits you cannot afford to miss out on, more so in this age of complicated cybercrime attacks. Sparing a significant amount of money will also come in handy when you’re at your destination nation, where you can spend it on the things you like (or simply save or invest it).

P.S. See a full list of private jet companies that accept Bitcoin (and other cryptos) as payment on this page

Membership options?

This company didn’t have any membership program. In its capacity as an airline, this wouldn’t be very necessary, since membership programs work best for private air charter companies, which would want to build long-term relationships with their customers. With a well-structured flight-sharing program, customers end up getting massive discounts, but this only works when they are frequent travelers. If you weren’t a frequent traveler at the time First Choice Airways was operational, then you’d not have had any reason to worry about a membership program.

The quality of the support?support

There are no reviews to reveal the nature of this company’s support staff (In terms of receiving calls and responding to emails), so it’s hard to give a rating without concrete evidence. That said, as you choose the company that you’ll rely on for your next flight, do not forget to analyze the quality of their support, since this can be a make or break in terms of your overall flight experience. You need to know that you can reach out to the support staff and get prompt responses.

In what countries were their service available?

As we already saw, this company’s aircraft served customers heading out to more than 60 destinations worldwide. Customers flying to Austria, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Egypt, France Gambia, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Portugal, Switzerland, UK, USA, and many other nations could at the time utilize First Choice Airways’ services.

First Choice Reviews (What their customers said)

Reading through customer reviews gives you an idea of what to expect from a company. If the company’s service delivery model is consumer-centric, then the ratings and reviews will reveal that. Negative feedback will often reveal the extent to which a company is failing to listen to its customers and to attend to their needs. Did First Choice Airways have any positive customer reviews praising its services or were they all negative?

Rating: [N/A] click here for details (opens in new window)

The only significant reviews I came across were the ones on Trip Advisor, in which customers were discussing the seating arrangement in First Choice Airways’ aircraft. Overall, there were no complaints about the support staff being rude. There are, however, a few instances in which customers express their dissatisfaction with the nature of service delivery. Anyway, knowing a lot about what this company did or did not do may not be very helpful, so the best we can do is to focus on finding a company that will offer reliable services in the future.

Final words and verdict

Verdict: Legit!

Overall rating: 3.8 out of 5 stars (3.8 / 5)

First Choice Airways was a legit company that made it possible for most of its customers to mainly travel to their favorite tourist destinations around the world. Since we know that it merged with Thomsonfly to form TUI Airways, one can only either rely on what TUI has to offer, or even look for a better alternative as they head out to the next destination.
